50 years ago Tony Perotti started his family business with a goal to share his experiences as a craftsman and luxury traveler with his customers. From day one Tony produced superior quality, creating handcrafted classic leather creations combining fashion and modern functionality. Today, Tony Perotti is an accomplished Italian designer committed to offer exceptional character and practicality in each product. Believe us, Tony personally examines each item to minutest detail and demands the highest standard of workmanship before anything leaves his factory.

Tony’s lifelong respect for the environment has led him to seek out more ecologically-correct tanning methods that are non-toxic to both humans and the environment. The collection’s handbags, briefcases, back packs, wallets, accessories and our latest group of Furbo cardholders are made using eco-friendly Italian leather.

Tony intimately believes it is important to support the local communities in the small regions of Italy. He works with the Vera Pelle tanneries, who are known for their genuine Italian vegetable-tanned leather methods. Vera Pelle is an esteemed group of tanneries that uses skills and methods passed down from generation to generation on conserving the natural beauty of leather without harming The Planet. In the tanning process, the untreated leather is rotated in large wooden drums, where it is softened and enriched with natural treatments from plant extracts and olive oils. Like fingerprints, no grains have repeatable characteristics, meaning each Tony Perotti piece is unique and special. Our method of vegetable-tanning by hand brings the natural markings to the surface, revealing the traces of life with the leather’s veins, wrinkles, and scratches.

All products are made from genuine Italian hides, tanned in Tuscany in an exclusive process based on vegetable extracts without the use of toxic or polluting substances. Tony Perotti®’s unique styling is the perfect complement for recognised expertise in tanning and leather craftsmanship based on ancient and noble Italian traditions passed on during decades.
